TECT Aerospace invested in this dedicated hard metal machining cell that can manufacture a range of complex hard metal components in a variety of materials with a single-piece flow. Plus, TECT Aerospace seamlessly integrated the world-class forging capabilities of its sister company, TECT Power, into the process. We also acquired supporting capabilities to bolster our offerings and partnered with cutter manufacturers to develop optimum tools for this specific application.

This combination of technology and efficient integration has allowed us to substantially reduce the time and money needed to produce a component on one of the most successful aircraft platforms in the world. We reduced length of the supply chain from 38 days to 23 days and were able to reduce working capital by 55 percent for our customer.
